In 2023, I was hired by the UNLV School of Music as a Part Time Instructor to teach History of Rock (MUS 125), a course satisfying GE requirements which covered everything from early Country and Blues through 21st century rock, metal, punk, and more. I taught this course for 2 semesters and received high student evaluations. Click below to view the Syllabus.
While at UNLV I have also taught private voices lessons through the University. Students receive one hour lessons once per week for 16 weeks. Students studying music are required to complete a Jury at the end of each semester.
From 2019-2020, I taught the BYU French Choir, a nonauditioned choir for French speakers (mainly returned missionaries) who wanted to perform in that language. This was my first experience teaching at a University in any capacity, and I am proud to have accomplished this while still an undergraduate student.
