This beautiful duet is created with a beginning Baritone in mine. The Baritone part never deviates from the melody, is always doubled by the piano, and features an limited range with a comfortably medium tessitura, not too high and not too low. The Soprano part is slightly more adventuresome, featuring a few upper harmonies and a range of D4-G5, but is still very accessible. The piano accompaniment uses nearly the full range of the instrument but is likewise reasonably accessible, without complicated or large chords. There are many meter changes throughout the piece, which should be counted carefully and never rushed.
